Naturopathy favors a holistic approach with non-invasive treatment that encourages minimal use of surgery and drugs. It is a practice of medicine that blends natural, non-toxic therapies, known for centuries with the latest scientific knowledge of health and human systems. Naturopathic medicine recognizes an inherent selfhealing in individual. It is a constructive method of treatment which aims at removing the basic cause of disease through the rational use of elements. The ancient Greek ”Father of Medicine”.

Hippocrate is considered to be the first advocate of Naturopathic Medicine. The success of this system of cure is based on the fact that they concentrate their best efforts on preventive instead of combative methods of treating disease. People are beginning to realize that it is cheaper and more advantageous to prevent disease than to cure it. It covers all aspects of human health from prenatal to geriatric care, from life style to diet, from the physical to the mental. He who builds health is of greater value to humanity than he who allows people to drift into disease through ignorance of Nature’s Law. These simple laws rightly understood and applied will do for medicinal science. What the law of gravitation has done for physics and astronomy, What the laws of chemical affinity have done for chemistry, they will place medical science in the ranks of exact sciences.

Children thus born and reared in harmony with the law will be the future masters of the Earth. They will need neither gold nor influence to win in the race of life – their innate powers of body and soul will make them victors over every circumstance.

Yoga defines itself as a science that is, as a practical, methodical and systematic discipline or set of techniques that have the goal of helping human beings to become aware of their deepest nature.

Yoga is a profound system of holistic health which originated in India over 5000 years ago. It disciplines the mind and body through exercise and meditation. Yoga embraces a life of peace and health. There are several different branches of Yoga each with its own unique focus.

There is no ailments of the body in a body that does not also have a mind; that mind is out of balance in a way that is a reflection of the symptoms that are manifesting in the body; and that this mental / emotional imbalance precedes the appearance of the physical symptoms and the initial diagnoses of the condition in question.

The body is not disconnected from the mind that is the whole point of following an “integral” practice. The thoughts you think directs effects yours body chemistry, biochemistry and bio electric systems for good ill in every movement. Failing to develop all four dimensions of our human existence body, mind, emotion, and spirit is like doing exercise only with your right hand and leaving out the other three limbs. Unequivocally the human person should be treated with dignity and holistically that is mind, body, spirit and emotions Hence forth Naturopathy and Yoga by its basic

principles and laws triumph such a state of well being after operating in all such levels in a harmonious way.

The successful doctor of the future will have to fall in line with the procession and do more teaching than prescribing.
