1.Yoga is consciousness about truth.
2.A student having thorough knowledge of subject is very peaceful in exams.
3.Similarly, a person who knows truth about birth and death is peaceful.
4.Whether rich or poor, beautiful or ugly and good or bad; everyone has to die.
5.Old age and sickness are unavoidable.
6.That basic truth of life has made Siddhartha, as the great Buddha.
7.The search of truth, pity and compassion help to realize our soul.
8.Every person suffers because of attachments and ignorance.
9.When we go beyond mind, body and intellect; we find eternal bliss.
10.It is called ‘Sat Chit Ananda’ i.e. knowing truth gives bliss. May we now meditate on smiling face of lord Krishna.

Prof K. Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy – optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
