Abstract

1.Friends…Yoga is skillful performance of action with self-knowledge.
2.It is skill, efficiency, dexterity and perfection in action.
3.We are instrument in hands of cosmic forces.
4.Our responsibility is to fight out evil.
5.We are allotted different roles like good son, father, mother, wife, brother or sister.
6.Let us preach with practice. What I do is important.
7.Purity, prayer and perseverance make us model person.
8.Secrecy is sin. Openness is character of Sanyasi (saint).
9.Yoga is knowledge of our attachment with world.
10.Yoga is self-knowledge to perform our duties. Lets meditate on ever smiling face of Lord Krishna.

Prof K. Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy – optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
