Abstract

1.Yoga is unfoldment of self.
2.Yoga helps to overcome inferiority complexes.
3.Through Yoga, small can become big and insignificant can become prominent.
4.Yoga is expansion. Each soul is potentially divine.
5.Man has limitations, whereas god has no limitations.
6.Man is finite whereas god is infinite.
7.Our body can’t face extremes of nature like excess temperature, light or sound.
8.At psychic level, we can’t bear excess of happiness or sadness.
9.To comprehend god, we need to bring out infinite capacity.
10.Raj Yoga is living for welfare of others with love and intelligence. May we now meditate on smiling face of Sri Krishna.

Prof K. Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy – optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
