Abstract

1.Friends….Good people are normally weak and less in the society.
2.Yogi is sacrificing and adheres to truth.
3.Good people need a good leader.
4.A child of Yogi and Yogini will be good leader. Thus goddess Parvati was proposed to marry to Lord Shiva.
5.Lord Shiva was impressed by her penance and went from mountains of North to Kanyakumari at South to receive her. They got married.
6.Yogi is child of love who has conquered lust and aiming at perfection rather than sense pleasure.
7.A man of character is respected and attracts others by his charm.
8.Character is strength of speaking what you think and doing what you speak.
9.Yoga is conquest over instinct namely lust and living with peace and harmony.
10.Let India, again be harmonious land with excellent yogis. Let’s meditate on Lord Sadashiva.

Prof K Subramanyam PhD
Dean, Division of Yoga and Humanities, has a specialization in English Literature (American and lndo-Anglian as optionals) and Philosophy (Gandhian Philosophy – optional). He is presently the Honorary Adviser, Vivekananda College, Tiruvekadam, Madurai District. He has been a Member, NAAC peer team. He has authored 14 books on various topics including books on Education. He has presented and published a large number of papers on socially relevant and spiritual topics. He is a prolific speaker with an ability to weave magic with his words, with a capacity to talk to people at all levels.
